Visual conventions

John Taylor and howling wolf they have two different views to the treaty signing at medicine creek lodge. The work Taylor does is more representational to me because of the way he puts things together. While the work wolf does is more abstract because he really doesn't describe what's going on in the painting he is more focused on the native Americans and the there culture and what they look like how women are more involved in the treaty signing. And taylors is more focused on the men and the signing of the treaty he's more about the men have all the power and that the women just stand back and watch what's going on with out getting involved. Both of these artist have different opinions and different forms of painting that's what makes there work so important because they each have there own points of view.
